RANITIDINE (Brand Name: Zantac and other generic brands)
This medication by prescription has been recalled by the TGA due to contamination with an impurity. There is no immediate health risk as the risks are associated with long-term use.
We advise that if you are taking this medication it be ceased and you seek further advice from your GP, clinician or pharmacist.
